Transcript from a real discussion: Round 1
This comes from a conversation with my ex-roomate. He was somewhat of a Don Juan (ladies man).
Roomate: “Not tonight.”
Me: “Relax, I only had four beers. And if she has a boyfriend than I at least deserve to know.”
Roomate: “First of all dude, if she has a boyfriend and she is looking then she is planning on losing him. On the other hand, if she doesn’t have a boyfriend, then you are going to look like a huge insecure piece of @$%^.”
Me: “Ohh”
Roomate: “She’ll be like, what!, this guy doesn’t know how to talk to girls. I just assume that she would honestly say. If you went through someone else then she is going to find out. And she is as smart as you say she is. And after she blew you off three times. She will definitely think of your weakness.”
Me: “&%$@, you’re right.”
Roomate: “There is one move that I have done myself several times. And when you are in this situation, where they are blowing you off, they think that they have all the power. If you pretend like it is nothing, then you are all in on three of kind. You are 50/50 odds she may say forget you for not caring, but she may also think, ‘man I have to hook up with him tonight.’ And when you do that you end up with a (Let’s call her Ronda). HAHAHAHAHA.”
Me: “You’ve done that before.”
