The Semantic Web
Hello Everyone,
I’ve just been hearing more about the Semantic Web and viewing the Web as accessible data. What do you think? Do you think that this is where the Web is going. Because we are talking about a lot of conversion here aren’t we?
I agree that the Web is moving toward a more chunked platform where the user won’t have to visit sites so much as he/she will select snippets that aggregate all the content he will he/she will need. I have seen previews of a service called Twine that looks like a nice interface for the idea. I signed up for the wait list of its test group. I will keep posts of what I think.
Have you heard about it? What do you think? Although I like the idea of having a one stop shop for all Web data, I don’t know if it will satisfy the user desire for personalization. Just a thought.
