Media Relations Summit 2008
Hey Everybody,
I’m here in San Fran for the 2008 Media Relations Summit. I am just minutes away from starting the full day session on Social Media: Strategies for PR. It is hosted by Sally Falkow and Doug Hay.
The speakers are promoting their service: PRESSfeed.
Do any of you use this? Is it worth it. I can build a RSS feed for my site with one line of code.
I’ll keep you posted on what I learn.

You already have an RSS feed for this site – how do you think I follow along?

I know that I have RSS, but this new product is supposed to allow you to build a variety of RSS feeds for different content subsets on your Web site.
Max, I am also having trouble getting my digg this function to work.

William,
PRESSfeed is for use of pages other than blogs. Every blog has a feed of ccourse. and if you use a platformlike Word[ress you can add feeds to your content categories.
If you know how to add a feed to a page with code you don’t need us. But many PR folk are not tech savvy – and they don’t want to learn how to code. PRESSfeed was built for them.
There is nothing in PRESSfeed that does not exist elsewhere. But it has been put into a package that makes it easy for PR and marketing people to post and syndicate news content without the help of a webmaster of the IT department.,
